Our method

Useful facts. Clear limits.

Which Private School is an independent commercial guide from Peoples Ventures. We help families compare private schools and understand costs, starting in the Austin area.

How schools enter the directory

We review official school websites for a real location, grades, admissions information, and publicly available costs. This is a selected launch directory, not a complete list of all schools or a quality ranking. Listing a school does not mean it endorses us.

What “source-checked” means

Each profile links to the public sources we reviewed and shows the review date. It does not mean the school has personally verified our profile. Tuition may vary by grade, schedule, discounts, and year. We display source-year labels and keep missing facts marked unknown.

How matching and sorting work

Filters compare your selected grade, school setting, search terms, and confirmed TEFA participation with the catalog. Results start in alphabetical order. The tuition sort uses the lowest published figure, which may describe a different grade or schedule than your child needs. We do not calculate a universal “best school” score.

How we handle vouchers

School participation, family eligibility, priority, selection, and admission are separate. General voucher information on a school website is not sufficient evidence that it participates. Official family and school decisions remain with the program and admissions team.

How this business may earn money

No paid school placements or paid admissions links are active at launch. We may later offer school subscriptions and sponsorships. Paid placements will be labeled and separated from ordinary directory results. Payment will not change school facts or organic ordering.

Corrections and maintenance

Information changes. Confirm costs and admissions directly before acting. We review correction requests against public evidence and date the changes we make. We do not promise that every school fact is continuously monitored.

Use this guide as a starting point

Visit schools, speak to teachers, and ask about support for your child. Our calculator organizes user-entered numbers and previews published rules. It is not a government determination, financial-aid award, admissions decision, or guarantee of funding.
